TKO President Nick Khan circulated an internal memo confirming McMahon’s resignation from his roles as TKO Executive Chairman and member of the TKO Board of Directors. The memo, shared with the press, outlined McMahon’s departure from both TKO Group Holdings and WWE.
BOMBSHELL LAWSUIT PROMPTS RESIGNATION
The catalyst for McMahon’s resignation was a lawsuit filed by former WWE employee Janel Grant. While the lawsuit had been brewing for some time, it gained traction this week with the release of detailed allegations. Grant’s lawsuit made it untenable for TKO to retain McMahon in any capacity.
